I am seeing a lot more people go out, and take old school kinds of shots. There was a conversation you were having with someone about trying to make a decision to shoot someone or not, and sometimes they are past you and down the block before you—. Maybe some thick black framed glasses. Brent Luvaas’ own take on street style gives a unique and much-needed perspective from which we can begin to see what is and what will happen to the presentation of the self in public.

I have finished up all of the questions I want to ask, I just wanted to see if there was anything else you wanted to discuss about your journey? It is about real people. I find it more personally rewarding to discover someone who no one else is actually shooting already.

Every once in a while I also teach a class on Indonesian pop culture. I try to keep as much of myself as possible.
I am teaching, I am writing, and producing articles. A similar explosion in the popularity of street photography is happening today. Bremt lot of the guys I know who shoot at New York fashion week, for instance, some of them have cultivated such a strong image both in their images they produce, and in their own personal style that they have made themselves into the very people that they shoot. There are images that I get photographing high-profile fashion figures at New York fashion week, and those kinds of images get a lot of page views. Get a real sense how this is having an impact of the fashion industry, and I have been doing it for 3 years now.
I have gone through moments where I have more actively promoted it than others. But he does so within a theoretically and methodologically sophisticated analysis of street style in its historical and transnational contexts.
Like you have to let them approach. One thing that I will say is that I like that aesthetic. I would rather have the picture that is produced be a more collaborative effort, so I stop people, I let them present themselves the way they want to be presented. Some people I stop are in a hurry, and I have just a few seconds to snap off a couple shots, and just let them go.
